One hundred percent cacao with no sugar at all, just unroasted Ecuadorian beans and cocoa butter. Bitter, fruity and very intense. Ombar conches its chocolate for up to twenty four hours, which keeps the texture smooth rather than gritty. The darkest bar in the range, and the purest. Ombar has been made in Cambridge since 2007, when the founder started blending raw cacao in his own kitchen. The cacao is unroasted to keep more of its natural polyphenols, and comes from Ecuadorian cooperatives that grow mixed crops rather than monoculture. Certified organic, vegan and Fair Trade verified.
